Between now and April 30, viewers can submit videos and pictures showing why their landscape qualifies as America’s most desperate.  The special episode revealing the winner and showing the rebuild of the landscape will air on July 18 at 9 p.m. ET.

This year’s contest offers the winner a landscape makeover worth $25,000.  Whether that is enough to offset the shame from having the worst landscape in America remains to be seen.  Hopefully, America’s Most Desperate Landscape will at least send a powerful message to other sloppy landscapers to rethink their yard designs and encourage them to get out there and start pulling weeds and trimming hedges.
